If you have struggled to find beautiful stylish women's size 11 shoes, keep reading this article.
For years, shoe designers have left wearers of smaller and larger sizes to fend for themselves. If you are a woman and wear a size 11, before the Internet, the search for non-matronly shoes could have been downright depressing. However, with the Internet, you can easily find every style, color, heel height or trend in a few minutes at your fingertips.
Although it is now easier than ever to find great shoes in women's 11, it can still prove to be a challenge to find a specific pair of shoes that you are looking for. Sometimes you will find a killer pair of boots on a site like Free People or Anthropologie. They seldom carry larger than a size 10 on these sites. However, that doesn't mean you can't get the shoe you saw there on another site. Usually they will list the designer of the footwear if it isn't a Free People or in house designed item.
In my opinion, many of the best shoes on those sites are those designed by Jeffrey Campbell. If you were looking for the ultra cool Brit Boot for example, you would see it in up to size 10 on the Free People site. However, if you look a little further, other sites carry a range of Jeffrey Campbell boots and shoes in larger sizes.
One of my favorite sites for trendy cool footwear is Solestruck. They do carry size 11 Jeffrey Campbell shoes in some of the designs but not all. The roster of designers on the site is excellent - a lot of up and coming designers and off-the-beaten path style.
Another newcomer is the site Cusp, a trendy well-edited site from Neiman Marcus. Cusp is a great resource for beautiful, well-made size 11 boots and shoes. They feature many top designers and feature all of the hot trends each season. Shoes and boots on Cusp will not be the cheapest but if you are looking for specific designers, high fashion, well-made designer footwear - this site is worth a visit.
The Nordstrom website is another great resource for great designer shoes. Although the stores may be more limited in sizes, the website has a great selection of women's size 11 shoes and boots. You will find both well-known designer brands and some lesser known designer shoes at this site. Their return policy is excellent and you can return items to the store if they don't work for you.
If you are on a tight budget, you must check out Ami Clubwear. This site is jam packed with everything trendy in shoes, clothing and accessories. The prices are pretty unbelievable. Shoes start at around . They have a huge selection of rockabilly shoes, pin-up girl shoes, club and stripper heels and on-trend boots, and more. Some of the shoes go up to size 11, while others only go up to size 10. If you want extreme footwear, fun pumps, ultra trendy shoes, or ultra high heels and don't want to spend a lot of money, Ami is the place.
A terrific site for exclusively larger shoes is Barefoot Tess. This site has an incredible selection of cool brands like Jeffrey Cambpell, Chie Mihara, Corso Como and their own in house Barefoot Tess line of shoes. Many of the shoes are exclusive to them in the larger sizes. They don't just carry women's 11 - they carry size 12, 13, 14 and even 15 in some shoes. The site isn't as easy to search as some of the larger footwear sites but the unique shoes that they carry for larger sizes make it a must-see.
